Double Living Project

The project consists of the construction of two adjacent single-family homes developed as part of a small private residential scheme. Although both houses share the same architectural language, each dwelling has been subtly differentiated in its layout and façade composition, responding to different intended uses: one as a private residence and the other conceived for sale.

The design is based on clean, contemporary volumes with flat roofs and carefully proportioned cantilevered upper floors. The façades combine light-colored rendered surfaces with textured stone or concrete cladding, creating a balanced composition that blends modern expression with durable, tactile materials. These finishes are conceived to age naturally over time, allowing the buildings to integrate gradually into their environment.

Upper-floor terraces are recessed within the main volume, providing privacy, solar protection, and a sense of depth in the façades. Large windows framed in dark aluminum enhance the contemporary character of the houses while allowing generous natural light into the interiors and establishing visual continuity with the outdoor spaces.

At street level, the entrances are slightly set back, creating shaded access areas and small semi-private exterior zones. Each dwelling is clearly defined by low boundary walls and fences, ensuring independence while maintaining the overall unity of the development.

The houses are integrated into a quiet residential street with simple sidewalks and natural landscaping. The outdoor areas are designed with an organic, informal character, reinforcing the everyday, lived-in quality of the project and its connection to a mild Mediterranean environment.

Overall, the project aims to create contemporary homes that balance clarity of form, functional efficiency, and a sense of realism and permanence, presenting architecture that feels natural, inhabitable, and closely connected to its surroundings.
