3 cabins in Ustaoset. Norway.

Sometimes we build in Norway at places not easily accessible or at least not easily accessible all the year long, as this new development of 3 cabins that we are projecting at Ustaoset, in the middle of the mountain. 

Still in April, you need to rent a snow motorcycle and usually a driver to get there with supplies. These cabins are holiday retreats where R&R from the mundane world with all kind of comforts. These are buildings related with the major cabin in Ustaoset. A cabin the size of a small hotel with spa, discotheque, media rooms and all major facilities. 

Aurora Fjell Mansion

Situated amidst the rugged landscapes of northern Norway, atop a gentle rise overlooking a glacial fjord, the Aurora Fjell Mansion has been commissioned as a private residence for a couple of philanthropists and contemporary art collectors. The clients seek a radical fusion of organic architecture, advanced sustainability, and immersive views of the natural spectacle of the Northern Lights.

The building should appear sculpted by the Arctic wind: a fluid structure with elegant, curved lines, as if it had emerged from the frozen ground itself. It must blend into the environment without imposing upon it, featuring expansive glass surfaces that capture the Nordic light in all its nuances—from the soft grays of winter to the fleeting golds of the midnight sun.

The interior must include:

• An underground art gallery, carved into the rock, with museum-grade lighting and independent climate control.

• A glass observatory on the upper level, equipped with state-of-the-art telescopes.

• Meditation and reading rooms facing north, with complete acoustic insulation.

• A self-sufficient smart home system, powered by solar panels discreetly integrated into the design and wind turbines seamlessly embedded in the architecture.

• Interior finishes using Norwegian stone, recycled Arctic wood, and local wool textiles, preserving the soul of the place.

More than a residence, it is envisioned as a sensory retreat: a minimalist temple in the midst of the boreal silence, where design not only shields from the cold but also celebrates it.

Casa Durrant: Casa Pasiva en Murcia / Durrant Passive house in Murcia / Maison passive à Murcia.

 We have projected a passive house in the northwestern range of Murcia.

In addition to the largest thermal and acoustic insulation on the market, the house has geothermal facilities with 12 wells 130 meters deep around the house, photovoltaic solar panels, solar panels for hot water, underfloor heating, heated indoor pool and heat recovery systems.

 

Casa Rodriguez /Rodriguez House

 

The residence is located within a densely developed urban area. The design seeks to create a home that offers both private interior courtyards and open views toward the city, combining intimacy with visual openness.

The upper floor of the house extends outward to capture views of the city in Alicante.

Vienda pasiva en Salabosque / Pasive house in Salabosque

Terminamos esta semana una vivienda ecológica en la zona de Murcia conocida como Salabosque.

La vivienda dispone de espacios diafanos y trasversales con un estilo interior muy industrializado dado que la pareja gestiona un negocio de asesoramiento para ceremonias de bodas.

Hemos utilizado un sistema de fachada con un aislamiento de 15 cms que nos da un coeficiente de transmision termica U value de 0.14 W/(m2K), lo que es mas que suficiente para Murcia.

Para las ventanas hemos trabajado con un U value de 1.8 W/(m2K). El interior esta terminado en pladur y los forjados estan realizados con chapa colaborante que se deja vista, sin falso techo.

Vivienda en Alcantarilla / House in Alcantarilla

El proyecto consiste en el desarrollo de una pequeña vivienda en una zona de expansión, en la localidad murciana de Alcantarilla.

A pesar de que el programa reduce los m2 construidos para economizar la construcción, se ha conseguido el diseño de una vivienda acogedora con una percepción espacial que da la sensación de estar en una vivienda mucho más grande, debido al uso de espaciós abiertos, union de espacios interiores y exteriores y un diseño visual mediterraneo.

The project involves the housing development in the village of Rygge, near Moss International Airport, an international airport serving Moss, Oslo and Eastern Norway. It is 10 kilometers from Moss and 60 kilometers from Oslo.

The house is located in an urban plot with wide green spaces, developed on 3 levels including an attic that uses the surface under roof to adapt a separate leisure housing space. The house is built with Ytong systems getting the higher isolation standards.

El diseño y la decoración interior se basan en duplicar los criterios de diseño exteriores de la vivienda, la distribución interior refleja la forma de un ojo que representa la visión de la espacialidad y diafanidad interior.

La casa OFYE:

La vivienda se destina a residencia habitual de un empresario. Ubicada en una tranquila pedanía de Cehegín, la volumetría de la misma evita toda analogía con las viviendas del entorno.

Casa Parra / Parra House

La vivienda se basa en los desniveles de la parcela, adaptando su forma a las milenarias manchas del terreno natural.

Vivienda Rub // Housing Rub.

La vivienda se realiza para un amigo de la infancia que en la actualidad es doctor y para su familia. Entre las necesidades habituales en este tipo de encargo aparece la obligatoriedad de disponer de un pequeño jardín para las mascotas de la familia anexo a la edificación.

La planta baja así como la buhardilla se destina a actividades lúdicas mientras que en la planta primera se desarrolla el programa habitual de una vivienda.


La biblioteca es la pieza central de la misma dentro de la cual el apartado dedicado a la filosofia configura la organización de la misma.


The house is made for a childhood friend who now is a doctor and his family. Among the usual needs in this custom appears mandatory to have a small garden for family pets attached to the building.


The ground floor and the attic is intended for recreational activities while on the first floor develops the usual program of housing.

The library is the centerpiece of it within which the section dedicated to the philosophy set the organization itself.
