Unitech Slvage Offshore rescue Vessel

 The commission consists in transforming the design, image and form of the general design of the vessel made by a nautical company for rescue works, construction, underwater installations and offshore reforms.

 The purpose of the assignment is to update the initial image of the ship, pracmatic but conventional, to a more innovative and groundbreaking design, reflecting the corporate brand of Unitech, one of the most important international companies in marine and underwater constructions, related to the world of oil and gas extraction.

I attach a new article about the rescue operation that is planned in Norway regarding a WWII 70-year-old German submarine sunk with about 65,000 kilograms of mercury located in the wreck on the seabed off the island of Fedje in Hordaland.

Duran Blazquez Architecture_ Engineering have participated in the project, redesigning the rescue vessel planned by Unitech and partners in order to participate in the rescue mission.
The core of the battle is the mercury load, which is probably Norway's largest point source or so-called "hot spot" of pollutants.

El proyecto consiste en la urbanización y el desarrollo urbano de una zona residencial. Debido a la larga duración de la tramitación de los proyectos de expansión urbana, el promotor desea el comienzo de la tramitación administrativa con vistas al impulso urbano a un plazo de 2 años.

El proyecto va a destinado a una pareja joven y dinámica muy interesada en el diseño y el deporte.

Los espacios son diáfanos y ambivalentes. Los recorridos interiores son mínimos en cuanto a que unos espacios se solapan con otros.


El uso de la piedra, el cristal, el acero inoxidable, el espacio y el hormigón como material base genera un aspecto sugerente en todos los recorridos interiores.

The project goes to destinado to a young couple and dynamics very interested in the design and the sport. The spaces are open and it´s posible to use them in diferent ways.

The inner routes are minimum regarding that some spaces plays with others.

The use of the stone, the glass, the stainless steel, the space and the concrete and material base generates an appearance sugerente in all the inner routes.
